Natural News: Cap ‘Em Yourself Series: Herbs to Heal a Cold

AAACCCHHHOOOO!!!!!!!!

The seasons must be changing.

It’s just about inevitable for me. With the coming of a change in weather, I get stuck with the sniffles and sneezes and coughs to go with it. Not my idea of fun.

Plus, the cotton fields are just beginning to bloom (a favorite photo backdrop of mine) and I need my health and energy up and running swimmingly for all the “could be, maybe” photo opps that happen as we drive alongside  acres of beauty.

Not to mention, I would sure like to gaze at the sky from the inside of my tent and not be concerned with any type of common ailment. (It’s just about time for our yearly camping trip…. can you say excited? I can…it sounds like WOO HOO!) (I really enjoy camping)

But alas,

Today I sit in front of my computer, with the sniffles and sneezes and coughs to go with it.

Here are four herbs, that you can cap yourself at home, to boost your immune system and kick that cough to the curb.

For you…

No doubt, already in every natural herbal mommy’s medicine cabinet, echinacea is a “must have” to keep you and your family healthy through the cold and flu season. A member of the daisy family Echinacea has shown to cut the chance of catching a cold in half, and if you already have one, it can cut the length of short by an average of 1.4 days. Pretty amazing, I think
